Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
VLIR-UOS only provides full scholarships for the total duration of the Master’s Programme (12/24 months). The scholarships cover cover tuition fees, travel, insurance and living expenses (board and lodging).
Eligibility Requirements:
• Nationality and country of residence: Candidates’ must be nationals of one of the 29 eligible countries and must be a resident of one of these countries (not necessarily the same country) at the time of application.
• Age: candidates’ age on January 1 of the year of intake must be no higher than 35 for an initial master and 45 for an advanced master.
• Professional background and experience: Preference will be given to candidates employed in higher education, government or civil society, or those targeting a career in one of these sectors. Candidates employed in the private sector or newly graduated candidates with no work experience may also be considered if they provide a strong motivation and profile.
• Scholarship applications: Candidates may apply for only one ICP Connect scholarship application per year.
• Previously awarded scholarships: Candidates may not have previously received a scholarship from the Belgian government to attend a study programme and may not have enrolled in a study programme at a Belgian higher education institution before January 1 of the year of intake.

When you apply for the programme, be sure to mention whether you wish to apply for a scholarship. The deadline varies and are determined by the programme but most deadlines are around 1 February or 28 February/1 March 2024.

The University Of California Berkeley Scholarship For African Students aims to encourage enrollment of students from Africa seeking advanced legal education.
Due to the extremely limited funds, the African Legal Impact Scholarship can only be provided to two outstanding applicants each year.

Course Description
The Understanding Dementia MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) was developed by the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre based in the College of Health and Medicine at the University of Tasmania. This world-leading online course is free, easily accessible and available to everyone with an interest in dementia.
The ageing of human populations across the globe has contributed to dementia being identified as one of the public health issues of the 21st century. The MOOC curriculum addresses this health issue by drawing upon the expertise of neuroscientists, clinicians and dementia care professionals from both within the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre, and beyond.
Since 2013, the Understanding Dementia has received over 380,000 enrolments from all around the world. We invite you to join our community and learn about the diseases that cause dementia, how the condition affects the person with dementia, and how we can provide the best quality care.
Once the course commences, you will be able to log in to engage with the course content and activities, and share perspectives with other participants. The course is scheduled to close on 29th January, 2024 at 5:00pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
To get the most out of this experience, you should expect to spend approximately 3 hours per week completing the course activities for the 7 weeks of scheduled content. The additional 5 weeks that the course is open is to allow you to catch up or revisit content.
You can work through the content at any time of day and at your own pace until the course closes. This includes revisiting earlier released content as needed.
Once you have completed the course, you will be eligible to download a free, personalised certificate of completion. We also offer paid enhanced certificate options in addition to the free certificate.

Overview
The University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £5,000 per year of study to prospective African students who wish to study undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the UK for fall intake, September 2023. This scholarship is up to a maximum value of £25,000 to applicants living in Africa.
To be eligible for an award, you must meet all the following criteria:
- Have an offer to study:
- A full-time, Undergraduate course excluding any courses in the School of Medicine or the School of Dentistry OR
- A full-time, 180-credit postgraduate taught course over the course of 1 year. If you are studying a 2-year full-time postgraduate taught course, you may be eligible for the award in both years.
- Be domiciled in an African country (please see key facts document for a full list of eligible countries).
- Have International fee status as determined by the University of Dundee.

GREAT Scholarships at University of Manchester – UK 2023
Overview
If you’re considering a postgraduate degree in the UK, then a GREAT scholarship can help.
The University of Manchester, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, is offering eight scholarships to students in Bangladesh, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand and Turkey who’re applying for one-year master’s programmes and will enrol in the 2023/24 academic year.
The GREAT Scholarships 2023 programme, launched by the British Council and 49 UK universities, supports postgraduate students accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The programme offers a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing a one-year postgraduate programme in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects at the 49 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
A scholarship application form will be emailed to all relevant offer-holders by the International Office from November 2022.
